While Dog Rescue Network does not rescue and rehome as many dogs as the small dog rescuers (there is a greater demand for small dogs), it is the most active medium, and large dog rescue in North County. Not as widely known as others, but definately the busiest.
For those of you who may want to contribute to our rescue effort, this is where your donation of blankets, food, treats, toys, brushes, and financial support go. These are the names of the many, many dogs we rescued/took in the past years. Most were rescued from high-kill pounds. A few came to us when their owner passed away, or went into a nursing home. Some of these dogs have already been adopted. Some are still waiting for the right home to find us.
2008-These are the 90 dogs we rescued/took in this year.
DONATE-All of our fosters are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before they are adopted out. These expenses are offset by the adoption fee, but sometimes the adoption fee is not enough. If you want to make a monetary donation, you can do so easily through Paypal. Click on the link below to go to the Paypal website. You can send a donation of ANY size to our account, info@dogrescuenetwork.org Thank you for your support and generosity!!
See our list of "Sanctuary Dogs" on the list of Current Dogs. These are dogs that probably will not get adopted due to their age. So they will live out the remainder of their lives here. A much better option than the pound where they would eventually be put to death because of lack of space.
